Workshop

Christine Lenz

Early bird or late owl? What this means and why it matters

The latest studies show just how much our biological rhythm influences our life. Our energy level and work performance is influenced by our chronotype. It is important to know whether you are a lark (it is easy for you to get up early in the morning and to go to bed early) or an owl (you get up late and go to bed late).

This is relevant for children and their performance at school, for students and how they do at university and for those who work. It is relevant for your physical and mental health.

I will present the latest developments in the field of Chronobiology and sleep medicine. The participants will have the chance to discuss their own experience and to ask questions.

By the end of the workshop you will understand how important it is to know the chronotype (lark or owl) of yourself, your partner, your children and others who are important to you. And how to use this information to improve all areas of your life.
